Terms of Sale

Last updated: August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to business-to-business orders for hardware and related products placed through the CIS Store with CIS Ltd. Your order confirmation and these terms form the contract between you and CIS.

2. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when CIS accepts the order in writing or dispatches the goods. Orders may be declined or limited if stock is unavailable or a price was displayed in error.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. The price payable is the price confirmed when the order is accepted. Payment is due under the agreed invoice or credit terms.

4. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates. Customers must inspect goods on receipt and report damage, shortages, or incorrect items within 3 working days.

5. Risk and title

Risk passes on delivery. Ownership passes only after CIS receives payment in full, including VAT.

6. Returns and cancellations

Business customers do not have consumer cancellation rights. Returns require prior agreement and software, licences, and specially ordered items cannot normally be returned.

7. Warranty

Goods include the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Faulty items are repaired, replaced, or refunded in line with that warranty.

8. Liability

CIS does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for its goods.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions should be directed to your CIS account manager or the CIS helpdesk.
